I'll throw in my 2 cents.

My name is Van "Cave Rat" Cain. I started caving in TAG 8 years ago. I primary cave in the TAG area, but have caved in Florida and Kentucky.

I mostly do vertical caves and love them. To this date, I have done over 85 differant vertical caves. That also includes 4 Multi-Drops and 3 Pull-Down trips.

I am trained in all 5 SRT climbing devices- Rope Walker, Frog, Mitchell, Texas, 3 Knot.

I am a trained Climbing Instructor and Lead Climb Instructor with the Boy Scouts of America. I am also certified in Red Cross First Aid and Infant/Child/Adult CPR.

At this time, I am the appointed Alabama Coordinator, for the NSS Youth Groups Liaison Committee.

I was the JSS Caving Trip Coordinator during the 2005 NSS Convention.

I conduct caving trips for BSA Troops in my area also.

I put a Gibson Les Paul Special II on Lay A Way on Monday. I have never owned a Les Paul and got a great deal on it.

I look foward to paying it off. I will putting a Amp on Lay A Way after the guitar is payed off.

After that I will doing the same on a Acoustic.

I will be playing them at TAG on some new songs.

My goal is to form a caver type band like the group Highway Men did with Willy Nelson, Kris Kirstophen, Waylon Jennings, and John Cash did.
