Another Introduction............
Posted: Dec 1, 2006 3:21 pmName is Danny and I have been an avid Caver/Cave Conservationist since the age of 12. I did tons of caving in SW Virginia and worked on a lot of gating projects (New Mammoth, Pearsons, Coach/James, Tobaccoport to name a few). By the age of 21, I was getting burned out so I stopped. Over the years I kept getting the itch and would start talking about caving again and joining a local grotto, but would always end up not following through and my plans would fall by the wayside.
However, this summer I jumped back in full force and am glad to be back. I have been on several caving trips in 2006, and 2007 looks even busier with some gates and cleanups planned.
I currently live in Martinsburg, WV and am a 3 month veteran of the Tristate Grotto.
Hopefully I will get to know all of you better as I plan to read and post plenty.
