Hello Everybody

Hi, my name is Allen. I'm from a little town in Oklahoma called Roland. It's real close to Ft. Smith Arkansas. Anyway I've been reading and digging info out of this forum forever but haven't ever had a reason to post until now. I just watched Journey Into Amazing Caves. I recognized the Petzl carbide thing but I don't think I'm familiar with the electric lights they were using and am just a bit curious what they were. Any body know what I'm talking about?

Oh, I realize that this is the wrong place for gear discussion but I'm new also so I thought I'd get it all out with one post...
