Hello from the Dominican Republic

Postby danduva » Mar 12, 2014 6:37 am

Hi,
Daniel DuVall here from the DR. My primary interest in caves is in searching out, discovering and documenting the Taíno indigenous rock art in the caves here. I have a blog about life in Santo Domingo and the last 3 posts have been about caves. http://santodomingodiaries.blogspot.com/

I also have a new Facebook page, more about rock art than caves themselves but some of you might like it-- https://www.facebook.com/tainorockart

Thanks for having me and I hope to meet some or you!

Saludos,
Dan

It's nice to see someone from the Dominican Republic on Cave Chat. I believe that you are the first person from the country of the Dominican Republic to be on Cave Chat. So what is the caving like in the Dominican Republic? How many miles of passage do the caves get to be there? And how deep do they get?
