Hey all,

I'm very excited to be returning to an activity that I did in my college days quite often, but let go for the past few years. I used to be a Camp director, and ran many caving programs in the West Virginia area. Now, however, I work as a Firefighter/Medic/Rescue Diver, and am putting together a cave rescue program for my department. While we don't have a lot (read any) caves in our area, we feel that it will help make us more rounded in our rescue knowledge. Also, it gives me an amazing excuse to go caving in my free time! If anyone in the Eastern VA region is looking for someone to join them in their expeditions, send me a message!

I live in Highland County and am looking to build a team to dig in Hecitite Cave in the near future. Also I have lots of other interesting projects to work on if you're interested.
The Helictite dig entails 1 hour travel time to a dry dig that's been worked on and off for over 10 years. The cave itself is amazing.
Do you plan on building/bringing a team if you come?

PM me if you're interested.
