He's Baaaaaaack

Postby normrogers » Apr 11, 2013 2:46 pm

Hello fellow chatters. I'm not really a new caver, (although it's been a while since I've been in a cave) just new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself.

A quick run-down... Started caving way back in 89!!! First cave was Illinois Caverns, Monroe Co. I attended the first NSS restoration camp at Mammoth Cave National Park in 89 and served as camp manager for 13 years or so. I've been past prez of the Near Normal Grotto and I'm a Fellow in the NSS. I did several years of project caving at Mammoth Cave as a JV with the CRF.

Memorable cave trips... 26-hour survey trip in Roppel Cave, KY. The Attic in Ellison's Cave, GA. (didn't do the pit) Floyd's Lost Passage, Crystal Cave, KY

Just wanted to say hi to friends, old & new, and I look forward to cavechat!
