I'd always loved going to the caves in the region like Mammoth, 7 Caves, Ruby Falls and many others, but several of years ago I was introduced to (or given the challenge of trying to find the location of) Pine Hill Cave in Rockcastle County in Southern KY. I've been back a couple of times since, but not since I got really involved in photography. Getting ready to head back and tracked down this forum for info about that and hopefully other caves in the region.

Greetings,

Pine hill was the first cave I had ever been in.

You should check out a Blue Grass Grotto or Greater Cincinnati Grotto meeting! That would most likely get you any information you are looking for.

Don't know where you are located. You'd always be welcome at a Blue Grass Grotto, Louisville Grotto, or Greater Cincinnati Grotto meeting. That's the best place to find out about caving trips or whether a specific cave is open or not.
