Moved from Central PA to Seattle - Missing the limestone.
Posted: Mar 16, 2011 1:21 pmHey folks! I was born to a TAG Old Timer and grew up caving in Central Pennsylvania, much of which was with the Nittany Grotto. Moved to Seattle recently for a second attempt at college. Seattle is great, but there appears to be a distinct lack of actual caves in comparison to where I'm from.
Anyone here from Cascade Grotto? I'll be at the meeting on Friday.
Anyone here from Oregon Grotto? I might try and travel down for the meeting next month, and I see some activities on the website I might be interested in hopping a train to participate in.
Anyone else from the area I might want to touch base with? I'd be quite interested in finding some folks wanting to work on Single Rope Technique, maybe a weekly practice session at a local park or cliff.
