I've been trying to find an old high school friend, Rick Simpson, who used to run caving tours in Kentucky, USA. Rick are you out there? Or does anyone know if Rick is still doing caving? Thanks.
Many thanks, guys, for looking Rick up on the NSS membership list. I appreciate the effort. (According to an old yearbook, his full name is Richard Lee Simpson, in case anyone else has another idea.)
Balincaguin comes from the Zambal phrase, "Bali lan caguing" meaning "house of bats." This was the former name of the Municipality of Mabini, Pangasinan, when it was part of the Province of Zambales (of Mt. Pinatubo Volcano fame).
YW Jim! No, I don't know her. I just did a websearch using the keywords "rick simpson" caving kentucky and viola...
