Hi!

My name is Cody Ann. I am a student at Columbia College studying Earth Science. I live in the Sierra Foothills and am looking to make more contacts for caving trips. I used to work as a tour guide at Moaning Cavern, Cave City, and Black Chasm Cavern and I have done a handful of motherlode wild caves, but aside from that I guess I am a newbie. I have full vertical gear and know how to use it but I am looking for people who won't just be caving buddies, but also teachers. (I also teach at the college and recognize the fact that leaning is a life-long process, so I will probably always refer to myself as a "newbie." ;-). If anyone reading this is reasonably close to the foothills in California and you have some trips planned, please let me know. I am interested in the adventure, of course, but also in learning about cave fauna, geology, cartography, and conservation. I would be happy to donate my time to conservation activities; I've seen some caves that were thrashed and it made me REALLY SAD, to say the least. I have my own gear and transportation, so I guess all I need at this point is more contacts. I look forward to meeting more people who share my interest of the underground!

From this you can find more websites and contact details for local cavers.

Good luck!
