3D Laser Scanning - Caves of Naica, Mexico

There is an article in this month's GEO: magazine on the laser scanning work done in Cueva de los Cristales and Cueva del las Espadas (the latter being the Cave of the Swords). More information can be found in the PDF of the article posted at:

They do a fairly reasonable job of explaining what was done and what the results look like in a CAD program.
