Cave surveying article in American Surveyor

Postby gillip » May 30, 2007 3:58 pm

I was surprised to see a caving article in the American Surveyor Magazine. You can view it online at:
http://www.amerisurv.com/content/view/3596/
This is an article about Flint Ridge System.
Download the pdf and you will see more pictures. One of the pictures is of a crew surveying in Mammoth Cave with a plane table, wich I thought was very interesting.
Most of the article is based on The Longest Cave by Roger W. Brucker.

Jonathan

Thanks for posting a link to the article. It's a good read and a nice presentation of caving to an outside audience.
