Mammoth Cave Map Printing

Postby Aaron Addison » Apr 3, 2007 8:36 am

Well, we've finally figured out how to produce the Mammoth Cave map floor display for NSS Convention. The overall map size is roughly 60'x60'. We had to abandon the idea of having a billboard printer produce the map (mainly due to cost, but also on how to transport it!), but we are using a 60" wide printer and lightweight vinyl material.

******SO HERE'S WHERE YOU CAN HELP******

We need to purchase approximately 20 rolls of media for plotting. Each roll is 40' long and cost ~$175. If you do the math, we need to raise about $3500. If you would like to donate, please contact Bob Hoke at the address below:

***Donations are tax deductible***

All donors will be listed as a part of the display at Convention. Please feel free to forward to anyone that might be willing to help out!

Thanks-

Aaron

Howdy Aaron-

Count me in. I have to make a significant contribution to my state and federal governments in two weeks, though. Sigh ;-(

Is this the same Mammoth Map that I heard would be at the CRF 50th anniversary shindig?

Yes, with any luck it will be the same map. (Looking for a volunteer that can transport it to Hamilton Valley after NSS Convention!)
