Learning to use Therion

Postby Vertigo » Mar 23, 2015 10:26 am

Is there anywhere I can get a template for how to input the raw survey data and LRUDs? I must have deleted some of the files that came with the software. Can't find template.th file anywhere. Also, if anyone knows, how do you get survex to output a .3d file? I used the cavern command, but it doesn't generate any files. :cavechat:

Hi Vertigo -

Send me a private email and I will send you the templates I use for both thconfig and *.th files. Also, xTherion has an input editor for centerline data that you can use when editing a .th file.

Getting a .3d output is as easy as adding a line to your thconfig file. Something like this:

Code: Select all
export model -fmt 3d -o CaveMapfile.3d

Are you on the Therion and Survex mailing lists? If not, you should be.
