Where to submit a mapped cave?

Hi, my roomates and I mapped an unknown cave in Tn not too long ago. The gentleman we were staying with had a neighbor who asked us to map out a cave on his property. Me, being rather new at both caving and cartography, drew up the measurements of each room and tunnel, along with pictures and notes about unreachable areas etc. It's hand drawn, but the measurements are accurate. My question is what organization would be interested in having such information? Obviously the owner doesn't want thousands of people descending on his property, but he was open to the idea of having the cave surveyed formally. Thanks!

You should contact the TN cave survey...maybe someone else knows how to best get in touch with them.

If the cave did not have a map, I would imagine the TCS would be glad to have a map of it. There are not enough folks out there mapping caves, as is evident by the number of caves that remain unmapped.

I'll submit the map and location to them. Maybe it already has a name and map, who knows. But the owner didn't know of any and the land has been in his family for a while. Thanks!

At the least, you should submit the map, locations, etc. to the TN cave survey.
