Correct CFC Donation Code

I received a letter from the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) which reads in part “The CFC Office has identified an error in the assignment of your 2006 CFC Code. Our letter notifying you of the NSS’s approval to participate listed your code as #xxxx. However, it will appear in the 2006 CFC Brochure as #----. We regret the error and apologize for any confusion that it may have caused.â€

Note - this will be effective with the 07/08 Campaign that kicks off in September.

Dear National Speleological Society:


The Office of Combined Federal Campaign Operations is pleased to transmit the new, unique CFC code for your organization. Your new code is 10808.

Please note that the assignment of this code is not an indication that the organization has been approved for participation in the 2007 CFC. Rather, this is notification of the code that will be permanently assigned if the application is approved. OPM will communicate its 2007 CFC eligibility determinations at a later date.

I am in possession of a letter from the US OPM which reads, in part: “We are pleased to inform you that your organization has been found eligible for inclusion on the National Part of the 2010 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Charity List. The CFC code donors will use to designate their contribution to your organization is 10808.”
