Cavechat Offline

Cavechat will be undergoing a routine update on Friday Feb. 13, 2009. Cavechat will remain online during the update if possible but may go offline periodically. The update will take place between 10:00pm EST and 11:30pm EST. During the update you may recieve error messages while logging in or posting messages. The update will be finished ASAP and Cavechat will resume normal operation (Hopefully lol).

I would like to confirm that Cavechat will be offline completely for a few minutes during the update tonight. I will have the forum running again very quickly. After the update please notify me admin@cavechat.org if you notice anything missing or out of place on the forum.

In 5 minutes Cavechat will go offline for a short period of time. During this period Cavechat may still be accessible but any posts you make will not be sent. I will post another message once the update is complete so you may continue normal use.

Cavechat is of course back online I am still fixing a few bugs but we should remain online. Please notify me of anything you find missing or out of place as I may not know it is gone.

We are having a few compatibility issues with some features on the forum. The new post counter is not fully compatible with the new phpbb software. There is also an issue with older versions of IE where some items are not visible. I will be working on finding solutions to these issues and will fix them as the updates are available. The new post link still takes you to the new posts it just does not display how many there are. I am running IE 7 so other browsers may or may not have issues I don't know about so please let me know if you find problems. Shoutbox will be fixed shortly.

I use Safari, and the counter doesn't work (9:38 am, Feb 14).

I believe everything on the forum is working properly now just continue to let me know if you find anymore problems. Thanks to Darrell Wells for his help in getting everything back running after the update.
