Wayne, thanks for clarifying the BOT question. This brings up another, since they show up as registered users, and are indexing posts for web searches, does that mean posts in the (registred users only) rescue and digging forums get indexed for web searches?

They are not registered users. They show up because the system identifies them among the guests. As guests, they can't see anything but public forums. Awhile back someone asked about all the "guests" that browse the forum and it was explained that many of them are bots. I bet, in a manner of days, you'll be able to search Google and find this conversation indexed!
