Any chance of getting Tapatalk integration with the Forum?

Sorry for the late response, somehow I just noticed this topic. The only issue with tapatalk is that they require a paid subscription. I have looked into possible template changes for phpbb that include some responsive templates which would automatically resize for the device and still retain full site functionality.

No worries on the late reply, we're all busy people!
Understand the issues, just finding myself using portable devices to browse forums more and more often...

The Tapatalk website seems to indicate the paid subscription is only necessary if you want to develop your own app: http://tapatalk.com/faq.php. All of the cave diving and technical diving forums I read are available on Tapatalk and I can't see most of them paying for a subscription.

I know it is Yet Another thing for you to manage, but I agree with the OP that reading forums on a tablet or a phone is way more convenient than on the computer.

Thank you,

Tapatalk is indeed free to run, and they update pretty frequently. I run it on one of my other personal sites and I get emails about once a month informing me that I need to update.

Any update on Tapatalk? I use the mobile app frequently for other forums, and the Tapatalk website does mention a free option.
