Well, with a little Googling, I've discovered articles that have appeared in the NSS NEWS. Like, this one, about Main Drain Cave, UT: http://www.jonjasper.com/TonyGrove/MainDrainCave-NSSApril2005.pdf.

Now I'm wondering, if that can be done, why can't the whole NEWS be put on-line?
By the way, that article was free of charge and password free as well. I would have been happy to pay a reasonable dues to read it and others.

Sincerely,
Mike

The good news is that Amazon's Kindle software is available now for Macs, PCs, iPhone/Touches, Blackberry, etc, and I have downloaded books for both the Touch and the Mac. For some amazing reason, it only takes a brief moment. Maybe because it's only B&W so far and no pictures.

On April 5th (?) Apple will release the iPad device, yet another e-reader app included.

The world of publishing is changing, and yet I still can only read about what was in the NSS News and not the News itself. Maybe it will come to pass before I pass from this mortal coil of old, frayed rope.
:looking:
I can hope.

Saludos,
Mike

I followed the link, but cannot find how to view any issue at all. What am I missing? It is certainly not an intuitive site, but that is often how academia is.

At first I had trouble with the Reference material coming up but now it seems to be up and running: Browse Resources

Posted on the home page of the website:
24 March 2010 -- We are having intermittent problems with access to digital objects. The fix is in progress and should be implemented very soon.

For a non NSS-News e-Zine, check out Cavediggers.com. Mark P. has done a great job at wrangling in different resources from the web and has some great gear advice.

Don't forget the NSS Vertical Section and its Mag: Nylon Highway is online. VS Nylon Highway
