Being released exactly 150 years after Charles Waldack began photographing the cave, Mammoth Cave Photographic Company, Then & Now will be released on June 14, 2016. This handsome fine-art limited edition volume is personally inspected by the artist, numbered (1-100) and signed.

The hardcover book documents all 42 of Waldack’s 3D photos of the cave and compares them side-by-side with modern 3D images. Witness how the cave comes alive in the 3rd dimensions (all images are also shown as large non-stereo images.) See how time has and hasn’t altered the cave by comparing Waldack’s original images with photographs of the cave today. Artist and documentary photographer, Gross Magee, painstakingly reproduced Waldack’s with photographic equipment of today.

Let the book take you on a tour of one of Kentucky’s most prolific natural wonders. Each beautiful photograph is accompanied by the history of the location inside the cave. Further, the volume features the most complete biographical of Charles Waldack ever published.

The book will be a Dust Jacketed, Hardcover 12x12 inches with 130 pages in full color on premium paper. The volume will also include 2 high-quality 3D glasses (not paper).
