Bats Win A Texas-size victory

USA TODAY (Friday, October 17, pg 7A) has a brief item on the victory at Bracken Cave. The City of San Antonio is purchasing 1500 acres of land next to the Bracken Cave Preserve -- the world's largest bat colony. A developer had planned to put as many as 3000 houses in the bats' flight path.
