Looks great... looking forward to getting a copy and reading it with relish. ... and maybe some mustard... like mustering up some articles of my own for the next issue.

By the way is the 2005 issue still available??

Looks like the cat is out of the bag! Still getting my Petzl stretcher/litter article fine-tuned. I really enjoyed evaluating the NEST, it's a great piece of kit (but a bit expensive for American groups).

I really enjoy reading Hans Bodenhamer's articles and enjoy caving with Hans even more!

Gotta get myself back to Montana, soon....

Nice looking publication - well the contents page looks nice anyway...

The website says they accept PayPal or check/money order, but doesn't say HOW MUCH. Or if this publication is mailed as a hard copy, available electronically, or both. Anyone?

The new edition (which so far is the table of contents) is due out later this month but realistically I don't expect it until early summer. It will likely be soft-cover, like last year's issue. No price yet until the editors have all the articles in and know exactly how many pages.
The TOC is just to get the community aware that the second "new" AK really is in the works!

Alpine Karst

The 2006 publication has many medium to large articles. It will be soft cover. I anticipate the publication will be much bigger than 2004 AK.

Price will be set soon. The 2004 AK Publication is "Sold Out".

Final layout is diligently happening now and all articles listed in table of contents have been approved for publishing with exception of one, Jays. Jay has submitted us a draft to review that is why we included his in the table of contents.

We still anticipate Late Spring publication date.

Cheers, Joe

So there was no 2005 issue? The one I'm looking for is the one that has the article of Neilsen's Cave in Utah... (for obvious reasons)...

I waited forever and nothing came of that link... and I'm on cable. Same with the link on the AK website. I know PDFs can be slow, but... how big IS that file???

Or is it me...

The link worked just now for me. Only took a few seconds to download on a cable connection.

Got your e-mail, but still no luck. I think it must be because I have Adobe 6.0, not 7.0.

BTW, why are the last two issues of AK both "Volume 1"? Should they not have been vol 5 and vol. 6?

Ian: The email made the scenic trip to Alberta but decided it did not like Ontarians and promptly came back.
