New Indiana Cave Book Out

A new book entitled "caves and karst of Indiana" published by IU press and authored by Sam Frushour, with the cave biology section contributed by Jerry and Salisa Lewis. Its is a nice overview of the geology and structure of karst. A few selected caves are described in detail, but it is more a general primer than a cave by cave guidebook.

It's a nice book. I saw it last Monday when I was in the NSS Office. You can get a copy from the NSS Bookstore.

I've only had a chance to thumb through it so far but it's very well done. And of course the first thing I saw when I opened the book for the first time was my picture inside

I did have to have Sam sign me a couple of copies.
