The First Edition of "Dunbar Cave: The Showplace of the South" was published in 2005. It was 152 pages long with 48 illustrations.
A Second Edition has now been finished and sent to the printers. It is 240 pages long with 154 illustrations. This new edition contains six (6) new chapters and some of the older chapters have been updated and expanded. There is a new, extensive Chronology which I hope will be of value to historians and researchers. Two old appendices, the Willapus Wallapus and Postcards, were deleted. They were 30 pages total.
So, the Second Edition has 118 pages of new material and over three (3) times as many illustrations. Many of these new illustrations are old, historical photographs that need to be preserved.
Tom Rea thinks the book will be ready in time for the Colorado Convention, so it should be on sale if you are there. Shortly after the Convention, it will be for sale from the NSS Bookstore. I have not heard what the price will be, yet.
