I have an old carbide lamp that I want to repair. The only problem I found with it was the nozzle. The original hole is completely filled (so filled that I couldn't even find the actual hole to try cleaning it). Another problem the nozzle has is that it's leaking gas somewhere around the ceramic tip.
Does someone have any idea on how and if it can be repaired ?
How about building a new nozzle ? I could maybe do this but I don't know how big the hole should be and what material I could use. From what I read from internet pages the hole is actually very small 0.2-0.3mm is this correct ?
Any other ideas are welcomed.
Thanks !
