Judy, if you haven't altered your Apex, it should have a lifetime manufacturers warranty on it. Check with the manufacturer
and you may get yours repaired or replaced for free. I hear Princeton Tec has an excellent warranty program. So far, I haven't
had to test the warranty for my unit.

I've sent several Apex and Corona models back over the years. They will replace the light with a brand new one. Call them up, get a RA number, send it to them and within 2-3 weeks you'll have a new one! :kewl:

I've altered the light - changed out LEDs.

so, no warranty.

Judy, I hope you can get a quality wire installed on your light. Simple 18 or 22 gauge speaker wire may be all you need,
however it will need to be sealed to prevent water entry. Clear silicone may be adequate for that task. If you don't find a willing
repair person, you might want to give it a try yourself. What have you got to lose?

Yeah, eventually I will probably do this myself.

The apex cable ends - Where they enter the battery or light are
CABLE GLANDS - made of 3 parts :
1. Housing
2. Nut
3. Compression ferrule

Unscrew the nut counterclockwise as seen from the cable end.
The wiring is an easy fix.

The hard part is finding cable(wire) the correct OD.
