Yeah, I'd like to see NASA develop some type of robot rover they can send down into one of those large lava tubes they've spotted. They think life would most likely be found below the surface. What better way to check and find out?

The RHex looks like it has as much fun crawling through the mud as we do. :kewl: It does have caving applications alright... gotta find a way to keep the mounted camera clean during travel through a tight muddy passage but it'd save a lot of headache and hypothermia accidents by going in first and letting the cavers know if that muddy tight crawl is actually worth going through. 600 meters is a goodly distance to travel.
