The price should be extremely high, but if they allow it for civil sector it has to be much lower.

Imagine 60 hour of light with 3 W LED!

Good point. How much does a full carbide generator weigh, anyway? Probably not more than half that, I'd guess.

It's kinda weird. The density makes it *seem* heavy. But the density would make it physically smaller, which is good in any tight passage!

Good point. How much does a full carbide generator weigh, anyway? Probably not more than half that, I'd guess.


The Pezl Ariane weight is 400 g + 400 g of carbide + 200 g of water. Probably 6 hours of light comparable to 3 W LED. No too bad for the fuell cell.
