Does anyone have experience using a Sten light with the AA battery adapter? I would be interested in hearing about usage and burn time on AA's.

Thanks-

I don't have any experience with that personally, but I can tell you that using alkalines is not a good Idea. You will probably get close to the runtime with the Stenlight li-ion battery pack if you use 2600mah NiMH AAs.

One of the people I caved with last weekend mentioned that they've caved all day on the 9V. Not sure about the 6AAs. Worrying about flying with a bunch of LI-ION packs?

I think that we may have that worked out, but there is no realistic way to recharge the Li-ion packs once we are in the field, and I don't think that they will last the whole time.

How about lithium AA's? Not rechargeable, but better life than alkalines.

it's kind of up for debate right now - more TSA silliness. see this thread.
