**Feel free to pass this info. on to any cave related group**

Here is a link to a new gas powered SDS drill available in the U.S. http://www.ezebreak.com/accessories.htm their contact info. is on the site.

This is my note from Carroll Bassett about the drill
<Just finished testing this new drill and am very impressed with the quality and performance. They are manufactured in China by a factory that does work for both Milwaukee and Bosch. Very similar to the Ryobi's but with a larger displacement engine yielding a big improvement when drilling 1/2" dia. holes. I would estimate they take 1/2 the time for 22" deep holes.>

Mark,
How much will this new drill sell for?
My Ryobi has been a great drill but has never had quite enough
power to suit me. The Ryobi is extremely reliable though.

Yeah, but carrying a 22 foot bit into a cave is a real challenge.

Do they come in diesel for underground? The carbon monoxide production requires more ventilation than any cave I've been in. Gasoline engines are illegal in underground mines, period.

Below is the flyer that Carroll sent me on the unit.

**Exhaust---these drills should only be used when you have good airflow but here is a useful article for an exhaust kit http://www.cavediggers.com/Ryobi.pdf
