might. it is soft and squishy until hit by an impact. could be nice as a helmet lining. otherwise probably too hot and heavy, although a "droppable" cave pack that goes ridgid on impact could be nice... until it bounced on down the next drop :)
I'm not scared of the dark, it's the things IN the dark that make me nervous. :)
