I have a couple of those - they're still kicking around in the vehicle somewhere I think. Not the greatest, but at least they're cheap :wink: waterproof :wink: :wink: and not incandescent. :wink: :wink: :wink:

I am a dealer with princeton tec and love their products. having said that I don't use an apex. I much prefer the Corona (8 LED). it is truly waterproof, runs a long time and gives a good amount of light.

I have seen factory standard and modified apex's work great and have also seen them fail.
I'm not scared of the dark, it's the things IN the dark that make me nervous. :)

The PT Corona is my main light....we have 4 of these in the family. I think it's a really good light all around.
