Meanwhile, I watched a Pelican light flood yesterday. In the spring pool it had a half inch of water in the head. Then in the after a shallow dive, there was about an inch and a quarter in there.

I didn't know that there were harnesses being sent. I don't know if it matters so much if you thank Jerry or Lamar. Recognizing that it's Dive Rite would be the important thing. Yay!
Just for me, personally, Jerry, and Jill, too, have really helped me out a lot. I've been swimming with my sump bag for practice. I *hate* it. It puts me off balance. Jill and I call it my "dead baby" since it's kind of round and lump like and heavy and you carry it like a baby. It leaks, too.

The PT's that have flooded on me, I could notice that the beam was somewhat degraded, but they functioned without so much as a flicker. Of course, they were completely filled with water so there was no room for any sloshing inside the lights.
What are you using for your sump bag, just a regular dry bag? I have yet to try the Swaygo, like Doug suggested, but I have heard others speak about using them with success. Seems like the Swaygo might be easier to carry through the sump.
