NY State rope suppliers

Postby barcelonacvr » Jun 19, 2006 10:14 am

I wonder of any one could lead me to a rope supplier in NY State somewhere between the Canadian border and the Schoharie area?

 I just received an email from blackberry from a certain frustrated caver who forgot something at home :hairpull:

I googled but found nothing local

My recommendation would be FedEx (or UPS overnight)

Eastern Mountain Sports usually has static rope, but you're choice is probably limited to a 200 foot piece of 7/16 (11mm) Sterling. They have stores in Schenectady, Albany, and Saratoga Springs. You can use their store locator at http://www.ems.com or call 888-463-6367. There may be other climbing stores around there too, I'm surprised nothing turned up on Google.
