I just want to make a quick post to introduce Salamander Caving Gear, a new company run by California cavers Mary Rose and Steven Johnson.

Out initial products are coveralls (with a really innovative sleeve design) and kneepads -- our testers have loved them and now we're selling them

There's more information on our website (http://www.salamandercavinggear.com) and our Facebook page. We plan on being at the Missouri convention this summer, as well as several other events over the next few months.

Those coveralls look amazing. I sent an email with the link to a friend who is looking to get some and he's was rather disappointed that they were sold out. Any idea on a time frame when more will be ready for sale?

We are most definitely NOT out of stock -- we have lots of suits to sell!

The shopping cart says "out of stock" because our website isn't hooked to our credit card processor yet, but we'd be happy to sell you one by phone. (I'm hoping to get that fixed this weekend.)

Looks awesome! Do you do just online sales, or do you have a store (and a chance to try a suit on first)?

We don't have a physical store, but plan on being at several caving conventions in the USA this summer -- definitely NSS2015 in Missouri, and probably also Karstorama and a few others -- with plenty of suits available

Also, if you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area anytime, we can definitely arrange to meet you with some suits

(We don't yet have third-party resellers, either; if you'd like to see these suits available via another channel, please let us and the reseller in question know!)

I like the look of the knee pads. Just might have to try a pair.
