Do you guys ever have passarounds?

Postby JonSidneyB » May 7, 2006 6:00 pm

I was wondering if you guys ever have passarounds.

Another forum I belong to it is common. What I have in mind is to send out an item to a person, that person would look at it for a few days and mail it to the next person on the list and so on. A kind of try it before you buy it thing.

hmmm

I guess this type of thing does not get many takers here.

I will be more specific later and see if there is any interest.

Ther is a similar thing going on at the moment here in the UK with a new LED caving light. The seller is a caver who is acting as dsitributor and a number of us who live fairly close to each other in one of the main British caving regions (the Peak District) are being given a chance to test a demo light.

So far the light is being passed on person to person but as it is fairly light I suppose it could just as easily be mailed on.

JonSidneyB - I wonder if you're talking about changing the beam pattern of a certain expensive caving light ? What I'd really like to see is an upgrade to the optics of the PT Apex, to give a broad even spot without rings.
