Has anyone bought a Zebra light from ebay? I just bought a new H600 for 88.00 w/ free shipping from this seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZebraLight-H600-Cool-White-CREE-XM-L-LED-Headlamp-750-Lumens-/200921367661?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec7d8c46d&quantity=1&autorefresh=true. Seems like a good price, I think.

Cheers,

John

You should be fine. Mine came from ebay, but I didn't personally order it since it was a gift.

My light just came in and it works great! I also confirmed with the Zebralight that the ebay seller has purchased the lights from them. Just be aware that the light did not come with a battery, but for $88.00, I didn't mind.
Cheers,

John

For what its worth, I ordered Panasonic 18650B batteries and a charger from Orbtronic, on Saturday, and they shipped out the same day. I was very happy with their customer service.
Cheers,

John

My zebra H600W was one of the best purchases I've made, for the cost and value. I use it mainly as a spot or where extra lumens are needed , as the battery life of my petzl makes it far more valuable to me than the relatively short (comparatively) life of the high setting on the zebra. But sometimes you just want 600 lumens, even here in NY ;) as a testament to it's strength and durability, it has been through the washer and drier TWICE, AND I ran over it with my tractor. Still works like a champ, and I've used it on many a trip. Can't beat that, plus the ultra cheap price tag makes it a shoe in. Used with those panasonic 18650's you are golden.

Does anyone know where to get the H600 750 Lm? I've been looking everywhere, even the Zebralight website says "out of stock".

IlluminationGear has it with free shipping also and is a favorite of many on the Candlepower forum. He is an authorized Zebralight seller. I've ordered from him before and was happy with his service. I have an H600 in transit from him via 1st class mail w/tracking that should arrive early this week. He also has the H600w. Link: http://www.illuminationgear.com/14301/273324.html

Mine arrived on Monday. It was olive green with an olive green and black headband. It however is shown as black in all illustrations by all sellers including Zebralight's web site itself. One reviewer on Amazon said the one he received was a desert tan instead of the one shown also. I'm not sure why other colors are sent as no color options are given. Not a real big deal but irritating.

A more significant problem however is that it is not compatible with all 18650 batteries and identifying which will work can be difficult. I have 2 pairs of protected Panasonic 3400mAh 18650 batteries made by two different companies, FastTech & International Outdoors. Both sets work fine in my Fenix TK35. Both are exactly the same length. The only apparent difference is that the plus part on the FastTech's are wide and the plus part on the International Outdoor are extra wide. The H600 will not work at all with either of the FastTech batteries but works fine with either of the International Outdoor batteries.

I have never seen a picture of a black zebralight h600. They are all the same tan/olive color from what I've seen.

Those zebralights are known for not accepting 3400 mah batteries because most are too large. I didn't realize that till a recent post on here where someone pointed it out to me. 3100 mah batteries all fit fine though.

I guess in the new pictures they are black. It might be new inventory and they are selling all of the old first. I have no idea really.

Good Morning,
I'm using Panasonic 18650B 3400mAh batteries (in the green wrapper) in my H600, they fit fine. I ordered them from Orbtronic.

Actually, eyeballing them both brands appeared to be the same length but when I measured all four with calipers the FastTech were about 1mm longer than the International Outdoors brand (70 vs 69mm). That added length apparently was enough to make the difference. I've read that the EagleTech 3400 are 68mm and work well in the H600.

Also, doing some more research all these flashlights are a light olive color (with just minor color variations) even though in the stock company photos all the sellers use, they look black. Still happy with it overall.
