That's exactly what I saw on a video and i don't like it, I mean is so focused in the center.

I found that video and here you can see what I mean, you don't have a nice view on sides.
I also like to switch very frequently on spot because we have some pretty big caves on the Carso Triestino (probably one of the most important karst area in the world, the first studies on karst began here) and i love to look at the cave in his entirety, and that is something I do not think spark's headlamp can do.

I have no idea how the iPhone takes pics as far as exposure.

I guess these pics dont do the sparks justice for everyone.
Like I said, I run the combo of both so if I want a super wide flood, I have it with the sd6 and with both on they blend together nicely with a wall of light in front of me and a spot out ahead.

Well a combination of the two seems to be a nice solution that should do the job, but what mode do you mostly use it?And how long do the battery hold up?

SD6-500CW
Super mode: 500lm/1.8 hours
Max mode: 220lm/3.5 hours
Med2 mode: 80lm/12 hours
Med1 mode: 12lm/120 hours
Low mode: 0.5lm/90 days

I'm usually using med2 or max. Probably more so in max. Runtimes stated above are very accurate with Tenergy 18650's

I have the Omni module from custom duo... I can vouch it's brighter than the sten light and much cheaper! :kewl:
