CONCEPT FRIDAY(almost made it) - Single Compass Case

I haven't been able to come up with a good closure for the double case. So, I switched to a single case. While I was at it, I tried a different construction technique. I know I didn't get it posted on Friday....but, I completed the case at 11:50pm.

I think the simple Velcro closure will work fine on this single case, but there isn't enough room to sew sufficient Velcro on the double. The little side release buckle I purchased are too big. Not sure what to do with the double. Maybe I need to insert them from the side instead of the top????? Don't know.....

After sleeping on it....I think I have a fix for the double case. If it works, it will improve the single case too.
