What factors made u choose the zebra over the spark? I think the sparks settings(lumens/runtimes) are more appropriate for caving.IMO.

Actually, I partially retract my statement. The 3stage high2 setting seems pretty useful.
Still curious about your decision though

Me too. I was wondering how efficient is the spark with the 18650s ?? It seems like a nice light for a reasonable price , had my hands on one for the first time a few weeks back ( Deans). How many 18650s would one need to carry to run it for a typical 7 hour trip if you only use the high for temp. spot ?? If you can get by with 2 this does seem like a nice option. Also what lens do you use in order to get light around your feet ?
It only takes one person to surrender a dog to a kill shelter ,but it takes many to rescue it.

On. 7 hour trip in HUGE borehole trips. I switched from med to turbo a lot and I drained both sure fire 18650s at 7 hours. We're talking 35' diameter borehole so I was running on high most of the time. I finished the trip on my fenix.

I am very partisan right now, but I will express my opinion that Zebralight SUCKS, and I will never, ever buy their products again.

Dean, sorry for your misfortune.

What was your plan for your lighting setup combination?

Dicks. Screw them, and feel free to share this message anywhere. Zebralight has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Don't hold back - let it all out! :big grin:

A pity, considering they have some good products and good prices. But I guess that's the trade-off right there. Isn't this topic about the Spark not the Zebralight, anyway?
