Magicshine MJ-872, (4) CREE LED Light

I recently reviewed this headlamp, and posted my review on Candlepowerforums if anyone had an interest. It's a nice light.

Yep, I saw this when Szemhazai on CPF posted the review on his website. It's an INSANELY bright light, and possibly the most lumens you can find for the price. Humorously, the same CPF user said "using it as a headlamp is a joke for me." In a way, I'm almost inclined to agree, but I do tend to believe in "you can never have too much light." Unfortunately, the waterproof rating is far from great, and if I'm going to be spending 100 dollars or more on a caving light, it better be able to easily withstand some water. It's a shame, really. Magicshine has stepped up their game lately, and now has many new and impressive models. If only the IPX rating were higher.
