Rare waterproof Justrite found

Postby Blackie » Mar 19, 2006 11:45 am

I found this in a junk store yesterday. No tip and they had obviously not tried out their modification yet. I think I've got one in my tiny collection that Quaman doesn't have.

ROFL!!!

Postby Cheryl Jones » Mar 31, 2006 1:39 pm

That's hilarious!

How is the lens cover attached? Is the whole unit with the reflector in place of the carbide lamp reflector? And the flame still is supposed to come out of the tip? (How would you light it?! ) Obviously the experiment wasn't tested.

OR is there a bulb in there, and batteries shoved in the base?!
