They were unveiled at the Hidden Earth conference.

I was hanging around/helping out at Bif's stand and ended up doing a fair number of demos to people. There was a lot of interest, and the feedback was pretty universally positive.

I think Bif's busy getting the website stuff sorted out today/tomorrow, and I imagine he'll be posting here soon.

Thanks for buying me a couple of hours Dave, and thanks even more for all the help at the weekend. Im not sure I would have coped if you, Laura and Lou hadn't pitched in. Im about bust at mo, but Ive managed to stick a quick photo tour on the web, and Ill set about getting some technical / performance stuff, and pricing live over the next couple of days.

Details are now up on the website. Price is said to be coming out tomorrow.

She is beauty Bif! Really more than I was expecting! I knew this incarnation was going to be a game-changer, and I think Rude Nora will be just that in the caving community. I think that your best option would be to send me one so that I can demo it to others here in the U.S. and therefore pay for it through advertising. It would be a lot of hard work; having to go to ALL the caving events and being forced to cave all day with a stellar lamp then drink moonshine in the evenings, but I think I would pull through.

You nearly gave me a heart attack. I wish! For that price I wouldn't hesitate to buy one asap. I have a feeling it will be closer to $400usd which will make me hesitate quite a bit :(

Looks like it will be around $600 USD for me when all is said and done. That crosses the piss off the wife threshold. I can afford it but I really don't want to piss her off that much.

Yah but... I want neutral tint, AA battery holder, and some other stuff, plus shipping and insurance. No doubt bif isnt getting rich off this. It's just a little hard to impulse buy just because I want it.
