i would just save up for a few weeks. the they dont say anything about an IPX rating or anything. save up and get some fenix lights.

Just bought the Fenix Hp10 on ebay last night. Looking forward to seeing how well it works.

Nope, I didn't. I can only assume it would be similar to a diffuser for a camera flash...? Spreading the focus beam to an even distribution of light?

The diffuser is junk because its hinge is simply a metal rod inside of the plastic sleeves. as you use it, the rod wears out the plastic, making slop, which then causes the hinge to no longer be stiff, so it swings open when you look at the ground and swings shut when you look up. it then flips around and closes when you dont want it to, etc. Junk.

the diffuser is crap because it takes a nice light and makes it look like a frickin cheapo light. it takes 225 lumens and makes it look like 55 lumens and lights up about 5 feet in front of you and thats it.
