What is your favorite horror movie? Most of my favorites are high on the cheese factor.

My favorite-->Dr. Giggles :laughing:

Like Cheetos, it is dangerously cheesy!

The first Hell Raiser was pretty darn good to.

I watched a program on the 100 scariest movies yesterday. They ranked Audition near the top. From the clips they showed and the description, it seems that someone enjoys their medical paraphenalia a little too much. Acupuncture to the eyes--Whoa!

Pinhead is scariest when he is in the column of contorted, agonized souls. He has someone bring the victim to him. Then, the hooks come out!

Snatch has to be my favorite all time movie, however its probably a tie between that movie and Aliens. I don't know what it is about Aliens, but I just find that movie bad assssssssssssssssssssss. Besides that, Bill Paxton cracks me up in that movie. Wish he would come out in some new movies, lol

"That's it man, game over man, game over!"

That's what Paxton would say after eating too many flaming hot Cheetos! :rofl:

I gotta admit Aliens is a must watch with great suspense and some subtle humor but I like my horrer flicks with a large dose of that FLAMING HOT CHEESY humor. Therefore I must cast my vote for PHANTASM. I just don't think you can get much cheesier!

i don't really have a favorite, #1, all-time best of everything kind of movie, but if I did, it would be "Fantasia"

...and since gory cheese seems to be the favored dish 'round here, I'm putting in a word for Evil Dead II, Dead Alive, and (oldie but goodie) Fearless Vampire Killers (dir. Roman Polanski, of all peeps).

Dead Alive is one of Peter Jackson's (The lord of the rings directors) early movies. Its one of the top ten all time great zombie movies of all time, Probably one of the goriest as well. :yikes:

Moving from horror to the realm of comedy I too would put DR STRANGELOVE at the top of my list but it would share that spot with Monty Pythons SEARCH FOR THE HOLY GRAIL.

Being a long time Tolkein fan, when it comes to my all time fav's, the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY is my pick.

And yup, I've got em all on DVD.

But are demon rabbits or Balrogs scarier?
