Realm's new little caver

Postby Realms » Apr 30, 2007 10:31 am

Hey folks, just wanted to announce that we have a new little caver in our family. Little James was born last night at 10:59pm central. He weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and is 22in long. Both baby and mother are in great shape - and again I'm one proud daddy!

heh heh I was gonna post this in the equipment section but Joy would kill me

Congratulations!!!
There is no venture more noble, more fulfilling, nor more rewarding than bringing new life into this world.
Kids are a constant source of amazement, entertainment, and edification, and I don't think one can be complete without that facet of life called parenting.
My kids are grown now, and whether it be a result of their environment or just good luck, they are both really cool! We still hang out together all the time, and in fact, my son and I go caving together frequently and are getting ready for SERA.
While some may lament the cost in time and money and the lack of freedom such a responsibility entails, it is probably one of the most selfish things you can do, for it will make you a better person - how can you put a price on that?
Agaiin, congratulations.
