So, I asked and poked and wondered; as I'm sure all of you did the same. Now, for your viewing pleasure:

The bat sticker is the next order of business. I also have to find a cool ultimate frisbee sticker (which I haven't been able to find).

THANKS!

Nice one, Big A! :kewl:

I won't even rag on you for not buying a *real* 4WD! At least it should be pretty good on gas. Looks nice and shiny - time to take it cave-hunting...

I'll pick you up a bat sticker at the fall cave in, since you are going to be a weenie and not go cuz you need to study. Do you want the bat sticker, or the one that is a magnet?

Bah! *real* 4WD. what's the big difference anyways? I get about 23mpg in the city and >25mpg on the interstate. Not as good as I had hoped, but just around the factory estimates from 1997. everything is working good except something is wrong with the powersteering. There is a loose part or worn bushing or something. otherwise, A-OK

Thanks Wendy!! Ah, I am a big weenie!!!! Sticker please, it's going to be a permanent part of my car. Plus, I don't like the magnets that much. Muchas Gracias!

Still, better than my Explorer at around 18mpg. That's the difference! But I'll keep my ground clearance, cargo space, and the occasional need for low ratio torque, thanks.

Stickers? Bah! They're just cheap tattoos for vehicles! :tonguecheek: But removeable magnets - they're much more practical...

caver 1402 -- that's my baby in the first post. I posted some pics of her. She goes wherever I go. She'll be going with me to GA this September.

NZ - how much ground clearance does your explorer have? I don't need that much cargo space, but my car has quite a lot for being as small as it is. Low ratio torque? I don't need that around here.

Stickers are better than magnets. Magnets suck. Magnets stick to your car, and if you don't move them around enough, they get all crappy, and can mess up your paint! Bah!

thats a pretty cool car. I just got a knew truck so I know how excited you are. I have been driving an '87 S-10 Blazer with no a/c and finally had enough of the heat (Georgia). I got me a Chevy Silverado now that actually will go up those rocky roads. My other car is a Trans Am - not the car of choice for the outdoorsman as its only about an inch off the ground. Only problem is, and please dont chastise me, but now I have two 5.7ltr engines to feed

thanks graveleye .... my new car is only a 2.2L but isn't the greatest on gas. I bet your TransAm moves, though!
