The Exobiology Branch, within the Space Science and Astrobiology Division [NASA], is currently seeking interested applicants for the position of Research Physical Scientist. The incumbent develops and pursues an innovative experimental research program in the origins of life using cutting edge techniques of molecular and structural biology. The incumbent conducts research in the areas of, but not limited to, evolution of proteins and information polymers, the origins of enzymatic catalysis, metabolism, bioenergetics and transport, and coordination of cellular processes.
