A lot of the diners here in New Jersey will have bison burgers on their menus. Tastes very similar to beef, and with very low cholesterol. Plus you're not contributing to some giant slaughterhouse industry, at least not until the demand for bison meat gets huge.

have you ever seen a beefalo? its a cross between a beef cow and a buffalo, they raise them here and i have seen them in south alabama too. But i have never eaten one.

my dad said he had water buffalo while in thailand, and he said maybe a rice bug (he said they are called ming dai) but he was probably drunk at the time if he did eat it

You have to be careful when milking them though cause they will change from chocolate to plain and if you don't catch it just right, well the milk company doesn't like it.

You eat hotdogs? Bratwurst? Salsicca? etc etc? The Chinese are just a little more honest about it.

Me! They delish. One place I know slices and pounds them then breads them and serves them with cocktail sauce. Yum!

Why'd they have to pound them? Haven't those little guys gone through enough?

It flattens them out and makes them even more tender. In fact, they end up about the size of chicken tenders. Much better than the smallish turkey ones.

Now that's just nuts!

(My apologies, it just had to be said.)

I still think cold Vienna sausages, including the juice (which is really a gel when it's cold) is pretty gross. There have been times I'd rather have eaten meal worms instead of eating the sausages.
Signature, I don't need no stinkin signature!
